Apple iPhone 15 Release date
According to rumors circulating, the iPhone 15 is expected to be released in September 2023. This rumor is based on the pattern of iPhone launch schedules in previous years, which always take place in September.
Referring to the previous year, Apple only announced its new flagship smartphone outside of September once, namely in October 2020.
From leaks circulating, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a frame (bezel) that is thinner than the iPhone 14 Pro model.

The iPhone 15 will likely have the same chipset as the iPhone 14 Pro if the leaks are to be believed, namely the A16 Bionic. While it's nothing new, it's an improvement over the A15 Bionic found in the standard iPhone 14 .
That will likely be coupled with 6GB of RAM, and a choice of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. It's all the same with the iPhone 14.
We also don't expect any changes to the core display specs, with a rumored 6.1-inch OLED display of around 1179 x 2556, along with a 60Hz refresh rate – though this time it looks like it will have Dynamic Island rather than a notch.
While we haven't heard much about the battery, it may also be similar to last year's, around 3,279 mAh. However, it will probably charge via USB-C instead of Lightning, which is a big change for Apple.
The cameras could also get an upgrade, with a new 48MP main sensor inherited from the iPhone 14 Pro. It will replace the 12MP sensor of its predecessor, but will likely once again be joined by a 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP selfie cameras.
Apart from that, Apple is also reported to be equipping the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max variants.
